The Best Mother and Most Loved Grandma!!!

We love you Mom! We wish we could spend this Mother's Day with you, but we're so excited for you to come in a few weeks! Thank you for being the best Mom and Grandma anyone could wish for!!

Our Fabulous Disney Vacation

We had the best seats for the fireworks show!
Can't wait to get into the park, why are we wasting time with a picture?
Photo Op! Emma kissed Mickey on the nose right after this
Cruising down main street with Papa
Going to the park on Easter Sunday, Emma in her adorable Easter finery
Kudos to the Disney marketing team
Watching Mickey in the afternoon parade
The awesome tram ride into the park, just wish it had been from our hotel!
Enjoying the shade with her new umbrella
All decked out
This is one of my favorite things to do, I love the shooting range! Emma was a pretty straight shot!
Lightsabering it up with Papa
First and only ride on Dumbo, almost eternal lines
Seeing Tigger while waiting to get off the ride
We had to get a Mickey Mouse Pancake!
Going on the Winnie the Pooh ride for the first of many times
I think we all just had such a wonderful time being together and watching Emma during this trip. This was the first family vacation ever, I think, that consisted of just our immediate family. We missed everyone else, but it was really neat to have just us all together...even if it was only for two and a half days! Thanks for making this such a memorable trip you guys! We love and miss you so much, especially Emma. Ya know, she really is a funny kid... she's still singing the pirates song and asking if Papa is sad. (Dad and Jarom had to leave early and this really upset Emma) This trip definitely meant a lot to her! And that makes me happier, than going on Indiana Jones and a churro combined!!

Spring Portraits

Thank you to McKenzie for the beautiful pictures and dealing with an ornery baby who had a cold! Colds aside, we had a lot of fun this morning. Emma especially loved her new "pretty" dress that Aunt Claudia gave for her birthday present. I know my Mom loves them as will my hubby! www.photographybymckenzie.com

Mickey in the Grass

We have been having a severe weed war in the backyard for weeks. So, you can probably imagine that the proof this photo gives, of us losing that war, gives my little pleasure. Anyway, the moral of this story... Emma was outside with Sweetie a few minutes ago when she started telling me that "Mickey is on the grass, Momma!". It took several repeats for me to understand what she was trying to communicate. (She has a very terrible cold.) She quickly directed me to the spot pointing and saying "See Momma, Mickey!" I have a feeling that our next trip to Disneyland will be very successful in finding all of those "Hidden Mickey's"! What amazes me is how much this little mouse has impressed upon my daughter...and us all.
